Advanced "No-Contact" Sensors
In early 2026, Under-Mattress Sensors and Acoustic Neck Sensors have gained clinical ground.
AcuPebble OX100: This acoustic sensor is worn on the neck like a small pebble. It "listens" to the sounds of the upper airway and correlates them with oxygen levels to diagnose apnea with high sensitivity.
Radar-Based Sensing: High-frequency radar sensors (similar to Google’s Soli) are now being integrated into bedside lamps to monitor breathing effort without the user wearing anything at all.
